Schedule

Want to read with us as we bravely march forward into the future?  Well, then you probably need a little bit of a warning as to what’s coming.  Unless you are capable of reading 1,000 pages in a week.  Not even we can do that.  We’ll keep you updated once we have an idea of what’s coming up.  Sometimes we don’t decide until the week of, but that will only be with shorter novels.

Homegoing – Yaa Gyasi

The Things They Carried – Tim O’Brien

Kindred – Octavia Butler

Not in any particular order, but on the list following the above:

Life of Pi – Yann Martel

The Book of the Unnamed Midwife – Meg Elison

Happy reading!

You had better leave some time for “Game of Thrones”. It was a pretty long audio book anyway… And are you really doing 50 Shades of Grey? That will be an interesting podcast to say the least.

Game of Thrones will probably be a long one, though we have a practice run under our belt since it was the subject of our mysterious and unaired pilot episode. And we are really doing 50 Shades of Grey because it’s been at the top of the NY Times bestseller list across every media category for fiction for weeks on end. That being said, it will be hard not to hate read it. At least until I’ve read enough of the book for it to have earned it. #Ben
